Sera kinda irritates me in this episode, Her mom is in the same situation as conan, they are both involved with the black organization so she should know the danger they are in, and Conan keeping this as a secret for a good reason so she being an as*hole trying to reveal his secret infront on many people

maybe Sera is trying to apply pressure towards Conan/Kudo because her and her mom are desperate to find a way for her mom to return back to her original body. She should just try to meet up with Conan privately tho like she did before in that hotel pool episode

well she still shouldn't reveal conan's identity to ran when he's working so hard to hide it from ran tho

I mean hattori sorta knew something was up when Conan said all those stuff and all he had to do was speak about to him ,for some reason sera can’t just talk to conan

Not to mention, Sera just starts saying stuff without the consideration of Ran's feelings.

Let's say that it came out by the van, doesn't Sera think that Ran would be brokenhearted to find out that she's been lied to? This kind of confession should come from Conan, not Sera in front of a bunch of people involved in a murder case.

Sera says that she's Ran's friend, but she doesn't always act like it.

Well TBH Sera always seemed to be a forced character in this plot line .
Gosho lost the edge by introducing characters such as Eisuke Hondo and Masumi Sera.
Both of them are annoying to watch.

the problem you're having is, well... the entire Akai family plotline. so basically you think Aoyama screwed EVERYTHING up that includes their family? so that means you think he screwed up Haibara's backstory too? then that dovetails into Bourbon/Amuro/Rei's backstory as well. you do realize with logic that twisted and incorrect that either you are nuts or just too doggone picky. manga that have run for this many years are a giant tapestry. if you start yanking threads out, you're going to ruin the whole thing.

What I meant to say is Gosho could've introduced better characters with better plot development rather than useless and hollow character like Hondo and Sera who portray the same emotion and role again and again . Quality of a character matters . Eg : Sonoko is a good character while Sera isn't .

I don't think Hondo was hollow. He pretended to be an idiot to trick Conan and although he was shown as being scared a lot, he did leave to join the FBI or CIA (can't remember which one). Sera is kinda boring though. We already have a bunch of high school detectives. And characters who can do martial arts. The only thing that singles her out is her flat chest lol

I liked Hondo, but I never warmed up to Sera.

I was just about to say the same thing, I get that Sera is already sure Conan is Kudou and that Kudou is trying to avoid telling anyone unnecessary about his secret but calling him out in front of Ran and Sonoko is just so stupid, shes purposely putting them both in danger as if that'll help her earn Kudou's trust at all. She's always been reckless but shes almost trying to make it clear that she'd just be a liability if she knew who he really was, and its a hilarious contrast to how close Kudou and Akai are without Akai ever directly asking him about his identity or trying to expose him like this. Plus the fact that while Sera is a pretty good detective she often fumbles at the finish line and needs to call her brother to bail her out, I don't see Kudou ever really trusting her the way he does Heiji

She is just trying to pressure on conan so he reveals who he truly is, her mother is also in the same situation maybe she is pushing him so they could work together.
But who knows what the real motive is.

I think sera and conan/shinichi should tell each other the truth

considering at this point in the plotline, we don't know for sure how Sera got shrunk. ok. think of the timeline like this... the drug Haibara developed is NOT the one that shrunk Sera. it couldn't be. Haibara is only 18 years old. when the shogi guy and the old lady who died in America happened, Haibara was 8 or 3 years old (10-15 years ago) and her parents were alive. the Black Org had to use something other than Haibara's ATPX etc. back then because they didn't send her to the US till she was 13 to start her education there. Haibara's parents died around 5 years ago taking with them their research etc. in nigh on entirety. Haibara said she had to assemble ATPX from the scraps and burnt pieces of her parents' research and her own original work.

so Sera trying to force Conan to cure her? probably won't work, because it is a different drug.

anybody else feel sorry for that poor forensics guy who is constantly having his job interrupted having people playing around with the victims belongings and having to run after it when they fly it away, then just when he finally caught it it was pulled roughly out of his hands by a grumpy megure.

The sticker he sent is so irritating, I would completely understand if that alone was the motive

Masumi deliberately going, "but have you ever seen Shinichi and Conan in the same room together?" at this stage is cute - like, you were here for Kudou Yuusaku's Cold Case, but we'd been though so much before then... After Ran went "I have his blood type" and then Shiho bailed him out at the school festival as they said, it's pretty much impossible for them to scare me anymore.

EDIT: Another callback to 691, Shinichi being strangely comfortable and slipping out of Conan mode around Masumi.
